Gen 3's going in tomrrow

Well made an appointment at the dealer to have these done,, Yea I know I should do these myself, Honestly could- but do not have the time. I work 8am-5pm by the time I get home it's dark, An weekends are filled with hockey( Coach and Ref).. All in all the dealers price was not that bad and since I did not get HFC's the $$ I set aside for that install will no go for the intakes. Plus the dealer will reset the ECU as part of the install.

Well the battery gets disconnected during the install so it basically resets itself. Either way, you are going to love then. It's a whole different beast once you punch it. Sounds even better too. I love my flat black Gen 3's!!

the battery dosent need to be disconnected to install these.... and no you dont need to reset the ecu..the ecu adjust its self so fast its pointless..when i had the HFC installed and when we put in on dyno we saw the ecu adjust itself on each run...

once you install the Gen 3's, you will notice the difference in power at the top end. But the reason I disconnected the battery is because I had the grounding kit, also because I didn't want my MAF sensors on. Weird, I know....

Dang bro whats the dealer charging you ? Must be a pretty penny... then again when you do the work yourself and you go for the test drive with them on... you enjoy more of the hard work (and cutting) that went into the the install... either which way... your gonna love ur Gen 3s...

I just cleaned out my filters and removed the splash guard and it definitely makes a big difference... not to mention it looks fcken sexy sitting behind my AutokitsX Ryou Grill !

Congrats on ur purchase !
