Its a pain, but one you do it once you can do it with your eyes closed. I dont know if the cats are the most restrictive, the 1.75inch y pipe we got is super restrictive too. Get test pipes and a cat back, holy moly you can tell its breathing better

Exclamation

i can't seem to get a straight answer - do you HAVE to tune with test pipes (+exhaust, cai). some of the z guys had plugs go bad? others seem to be running freaking lean for a year+ and they're just fine.

Put my Fast Intentions HFC's on last week and love them. Can feel and hear a difference. I'm running an HKS Hi-Power axle back and really only get rasp at WOT. Getting a much needed tune next. My install took almost 4 hours but worth it.

I had no tune on my 08, But I aslo never threw a CEL for a lean condition? I drove on them for a while before I took it into the dealer. Never got one CEL.

Berks without tune is at least 5-7 hp... it's noticeable. You have more noticeable torque. What I love is it amplifies the distinctive G exhaust note 3-4 times louder when you get on it. Little rasp. Has a tinny sound on warm up but after a couple of minutes it's gone. Had mine about a year no cell issues!

Berks HFC is a great addition for the increased power and torque. It's definitely where I am heading next to combine with the CBE's already on. Updated tune with dyno prints to follow.

Good luck to OP on decision.
