Personally I think it makes very little difference what bolt-ons you put on this car, excludig FI. You remove some restriction with intake/exhaust, get a tune and you should see ~+25 over stock.. Factor in any give car can vary by 10Hp and the this one's better than that one is really pointless. There are other things to consider as well, easy of install, maintenance and engine protection.

These gains are small for the investment, but no matter which bolt-ons you pick and providing you get a good tune you'll feel the difference and be quite happy with the driving experience just getting away from the stock tune.

kyle millen from stillen emailed a very detailed explanation.
the short version is they use a 2 1/2 inch diamiter piping not (3inch cause to much turbulence indie the the throtle bodies)

by making the tube loner not wider, it creates a higher velocity of air flow taking advantage of the ram air built in by infiniti.(333 hp @ 60 mph)
stillen researched it & spent on ton on r&d.
injen may make some power down low, but I need it more when I'm wot.

fact stillen makes the most hp,why else by an intake for sound.?
i tried looking around for some more information on the Injen's. i was under the impression that they were longer than the Stillens and also 2.5 inches in diameter. i could be wrong though. i also read around that the Injens had more conclusive R&D than the Stillens. not only that but Injen cold airs peaked at 16.5 whp (peak peak peak)., and not FOUR WHP. from MY experience, the placement of the Injen's is straight out better for my conditions. By the way, don't you think direct exposure creates more turbulence, ie stillens, versus the Injen's? come on dude...

we're all adults right? i'm not bashing here.

I appreciate all the feedback. Makes the decision even harder, ironically

I think I am going Injen and going to buy from Lou @ Amplified. Then get an UPREV tune, which I came to find out, is more expensive than the intake! Costly process to squeeze out 20WHP

It will still put a smile on your face and that is worth the bucks!

Good luck with the Injens. You'll be happy with them and especially the UpRev. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
