My butt CAN tell a difference but I can't quantify it. It's just quicker. Period. Put on some new shoes (Michelin A/S 245's and 275's on stock 19's) and I've quit looking at M3's and ISF's. Love my car.

...one question, what's up w/ all the butt comments? LMAO JKJK

Sunten - what did you decide to go with?

Josh - you should get them. Definitely a big improvement for your ride and put a bigger smile on your face! What were they using mostly in Korea?

Is stillen gen 3 CAI really loud at the lower RPMS? I'd like the car to get that badass start sound and the amplified exhaust sound when I hit the gas during the lower RPMS. Will I be disappointed if I'm not always looking to gas it up to 6k-redline?

I can't really even hear mine. The Fast Intentions exhaust makes sure of that.

If it's sound you're looking for, go for te R2c system.

That sound at loud RPMs is generally going to come from your exhaust not your CAI. CAI roar explodes as your RPMs are pushed because they are sucking in the air the engine is pulling for. The midrange power is where you will feel the difference the most.

This is what I am referring to! The combo of CAI and CBE will get you the growl you are looking for.

I've got the Gen-2 Stillen Intake and I love the sound... My exhaust is stock!
I felt you really heard the difference up front when you open up, at lower speeds too!

There are a lot of individual dyno's on this forum that prove 15-20 hp gains. Definately not false. Every car is different but you will notice a gain especially in the higher RPM range.

Even 15 hp gains is real good!
