Polishing exhaust tips

So I received my ark exhaust and was wondering if there is a way I can polish off the blue coating that is on the tips. Can I do this myself and how ??? Thanx

Dude, why buy burnt ti exhaust to take it off. Lol. I don't think it will come off. I say leave it, it looks good :-)

There's a few posts somewhere on the forum by those who have done it. I believe that you should use the metal polish of your choice and apply it using done elbow grease.

burnt tip removal

I used a combination of products I already had - rubbing compund, Mothers aluminum wheel polish and Flitz. Used a wool buffing pad on an electric drill and an angle grinder with a buffing pad. With repeated applications of each, it comes off. I did gouge the underside of one of the Megan tips slightly when I did when I didn't watch the nut on grinder close enough but it workded.
