I don't believe the heading on this thread says HKS.
While they may make a nice product, from what I found, HKS's offering for the '09 sedan is only a rear section. And for around $800 for mufflers....not a chance.

And if I understood you correctly, you only want something a tad louder than stock. And Invidia is just that. HKS is LOUD!

correctamundo Blackjack. I've done my research. While I do love the tones coming from some of the other reputable catback providers, they are just too loud & draw too much attention. I'm in outside executive sales and often have clients in my car. I am purely looking for more flow, with a sweeter tone that stock....I think Infiniti missed the boat with the stock exhaust for the sedan. And from what I can tell, Invidia is the perfect choice for my needs. It only took me 8 months of to figure it out. And now wheels....OMG, it may be this time next year before I can figure that one out. But half the fun is in the hunt for what you want.....at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Thanks a lot MOB...for all your research. I am looking for a CBE for few days. I still don't know a lot of stuff. But i am in your boat looking for something a tad loud than Stock but not being LOUD!!!

How do you like Invidia so far? Is it too loud in the cabin when you cruise on highways? Luckily...BlackJack is in ATL. I might get more info from him

from what I remember reading.

the coupe got the upgrade, while the sedan still kept the 300 series. Only the coupe had the rasp, while the sedan still sounded clean.

now the exhaust is just called the Invidia Gemini 300 exhaust. or something like that.

So Invidia Gemini on a coupe is a better system than the one for a sedan?

or they did fix something on Coupe's exhaust system

not better, just coupe had rasp and Sedan did not.

I'm not sure if sedan was updated with design also.

ugggggh. I still have not yet pulled the trigger.

Waiting on year-end bonus and finishing suspension stuff first....Eibach springs, H&R spacers, Eibach F/R adjustable sways, GTspec upper strut bar. My understanding was that the problem was resulting from the design of the original X pipe.....and that Invidia has since redesigned it for both systems to fix the rasp problem. Can anyone confirm that?

When the time comes, the Invidia is my choice. Hopefully January....

Both the coupe and sedan Gemini system have the new resonated pipe and new x pipe.
