getting a cf ts hood will I have a problem with stage 3 intake.?

was debating with a friend of mine.
he said the cf ts hood will cause a problem with the stillen stage 3 intake.
because of the openings in the hood.
anyone agree with that statement, I don't think it's gonna matter at all.

thanks for the input.

i disagree because i installed one of them on my friend's G with the Stillen 3G intake and it clears perfectly. only thing is the windshield washer nozzle and hoses won't fit on the hood.

you're good to go.

Hmmm don't think so. The vents in the hood won't affect the intake cause the filters are located in front of the radiator. The little water that will get into the engine bay from the vents won't be a problem. Your just gonna have to clean up your engine bay a little more then usual. Leaves and other debris can slip into between the vents and stuff.

There are people running that exact set up with no issues. Hit up Hi-speedlowdrag.

Yeah your friend that said you'll have problems is wrong. I've got the Seibon TS hood and the Gen3's...it's been raining cats and dogs here every single night for the past week and there's no problems.

The Gen3's are a damn good design because I've been in some nasty nasty weather and have constantly checked my filters and yet they are perfectly dry.
