R2C intake washing

for all you R2c intake owners whats the best way to clean the filter i tried air pressure but its still dirty looking how to get it back to white??????thanks can i dip and wash in water and car wash soap and then use a hose from inside out???

I have not done mine besides air hosing them but I also heard to submerge them in soda water for a while and then let them dry out.

hahaha soda water then they would be all sticky any othe ideas whats the reccomended procedure

LOL not Pepsi or something like that. Seltzer water. Water with CO2 and no sugar, then rinse and dry.

If there's dirt in it then just air will most likely not clean them. You can get specific cleaner made for air filters at any auto store, just use warm water and cleaner and let them soak then rinse, dry, etc.

Wasn't there another post/DIY about this somewhere? Someone used OxyClean and said it worked great?
