K&N Typhoon CAI for G37? ANYONE try one of these?

 

I have them on my car. They are short ram not CAI. Mine is for 07-08 G35 sedan (from my totaled old car) but fits on my new 2010 with some minor modification. K&N just came out with a new kit for 370Z and G37 not too long ago.

The quality is top notch. Fitment is very good and easy to install. I like the silver metallic intake tubes better than the usual chrome ones on most other intakes.

 

possible to post a pic with the hood up? Would love to check that out. Debating on going with the SRI from K&N, Injen, or Takeda........ Does the K&N have a heat shield of some sort?

 

I'm intertested as well... torn Sri or Cai....

hmmm. Cosmetically, I think K&N dropped the ball on this one. Kinda looks janky IMO. Just doesn't seem to compare to the Injen or Takeda from a visual perspective. So for me, it's down to two.....of which I could probably flip a coin and be just as happy with either.

 

i actually really like the look of this intake as it is the only one that is not so "bling bling".
