I ended up purchasing these and paired them with AFE Pro Dry-S filters in the stock airboxes. Together it added slightly more intake sound and feels more open on the top end, but realistically it probably only added a few HP and TQ. An open filter type short ram intake may produce more sound, but not much more HP/TQ. Unless you're going to do a full cold air intake this is probably the best bang for your buck intake modification. Oh, and they look good

 

That looks pretty good, I wonder how restrictive the stock boxes are compared to open filters and heat shield.

 

I would venture to say not very. The opening to the mouth of the box is actually larger than the maf opening.
