Exhaust Idea - One center muffler, no rears

What do you guys think of the following idea for an exhaust for a G37S Sedan? Imagine the Fast Intentions system with the center X-Pipe muffler (e.g. Magnaflow). What if the rear mufflers were deleted? The center muffler would be the only muffler. I had this in My Audi S5 (V-8) and it was modeled after AWE Tuning's exhaust. Here is a clip:

So the question is, how do you think this would sound, considering it is a 3.7L V-6 rather than a 4.2L V-8?

It would be a custom mandrel bent job using the center muffler from Magnaflow (same one that was on my S5) going back to some polished tips but no rear mufflers. I loved the sound on the Audi's V8. It was definitely loud, but after I got used to it, it was fine as a daily driver. I just am unsure about how it would sound with the G37. The displacement of the engines, the number of cylinders, the peak power and torque curves are all different! So if anyone has any thoughts or opinions, I would appreciate it.

I get rid of cars before the warranty runs out. I had about 38k miles on the S5. It was a load of problems and cost me a lot of money. In particular, the clutch has a bad throwout bearing issue. I ended up paying out of pocket for an issue that Audi knows about but will officially deny. I won't go into details here, but if anyone is considering an Audi, then I can affirm the stereotype that they are money pits and the dealers and Audi of America were terrible to deal with. Also, I needed a four door since we are expecting our second child, so I looked for the best sedan that was sporty and had a 6 speed manual!

Exactly why I canceled my A5 order a year ago and ended up with the G. Soooooo much more bang for the buck

Just an update. I am getting the custom exhaust made for my G37S Sedan (6MT) this weekend. It will be made using 2.5" mandrel bent tubing, one center x-pipe muffler from Magnaflow (like what Fast Intentions used), and two rear 4x9 Magnaflow mufflers. I'll try to get pics and vids up soon afterwards.

So did you actually do this....How'd it turn out?

I'm contemplating all exhaust options right now, leaning toward custom from my local perf muffler shop, and am VERY curious as to how your system turned out....

Pics? Vids? Sound clip?

^ Yeah I'm curious to see how this turns out too...I'm a huge fan of the sound that comes from American muscle cars, so it puzzles me when I see guys on here saying they don't like too much sound from their after market exhaust...me, I would love more sound, as long as it doesn't sound like a car with 150 HP and a racing exhaust system. I'm thinking your hook-up will probably be louder than the OE dual exhaust set up if I understand you correctly that you're going from a dual set up to a single exhaust set up.
