So I wonder how we get CARB stickers if we've already purchased one awhile ago?

All you really need is the CARB EO #....which is on the PDF link I posted. Just keep a copy of the intake info and pdf in your glove box just in case your hood gets popped. If you REALLY want a sticker. You can email Injen and let them know to send you one. I bought an Injen intake for my celica waaaay back and when it was finally CARB approved you just send them an email with a copy of your reciept and they mail it to you.

But kind of funny how Injen didn't publicly announce this as this could be a driving force to buy Injen over Stillen.....Stillen are you listening?

Dammit! I posted the wrong PDF!...LOL.

Thanks TJHG37S for looking out.

For anyone in the l.a area I found a place that will do installs on these for $500 even!

I'd definately jump on this if i was looking for an intake.

If anyone wants the CARB sticker I got this response directly from Injen!

"What we need from you is pictures of the intake installed in the vehicle and a picture of the VIN that is located on the door jam of your car. Also give me your mailing address and I will get one sent out to you."

Email info@injen.com for more details and so they have you in their system for requesting a CARB sticker.

We could probably print a copy of the carb in pdf and keep it in our cars until Stillen gets approval on their intake. I don't think a cop would be able to differentiate b/w an INJEN or a STILLEN intake especially b/c the gen 3 doesnt have any logos on the intake. Worth a shot IMO.

Get a Injen decal and slap it on the Stillen tubes.

The Gen. III's are currently CARB pending. As soon as we have our production Z we will be submitting the Gen III's and the supercharger. We should have our production Z in the next week or less. For you local guys, you'll recognize the local Z owner...Dallas Raines from ABC 7. He wants one of our supercharger's installed and has generously offered his vehicle for our CARB testing on the intakes and the supercharger.

CARB testing is a pretty expensive and lengthy process. Basically you have to submit all of your installation and assembly instructions to CARB and then once they see that and approve everything they issue you a "test letter." That test letter tells you what tests need to be performed and to what level of emissions standards they need to pass. From there we work with one of the independent labs that we have worked with in the past and the results are sent to CARB. The whole process can take just a few weeks or a few months, it really depends on CARB and how much effort they want to put behind it. Fortunately we have a very good relationship with the people over there as we have been working with them for many, many years.
