Makes me happy I bough it xD

Btw I was thinking about getting the hydro shields from injen instead of the urethane cover that comes with the gen3s. What do you guys think? If I'm driving 60 mph in the moderate rain, will the suffice?

Well, they did have to remove the stock system, and then install the G3, so I'd imagine the car cooled down.

I am considering this kit also. Thanks for the post of the #s. The car is my wives, however, can you give the low down on how it sounds from inside the car? I would think that it sounded good, where I think she would not like any additional "whistling" that I have heard from similar setups.

Excited to see the changes from exhaust....

i was not there for the install, but they didn't mention any problems. it does not seem to be rubbing anywhere.

the sound is not really noticeable, maybe a bit louder at higher rpms. it is not a whistle or air suction sound from inside the cabin. the whole system, intake and exhaust, seems to be breathing better and a bit louder.

you can def feel the power from 6k to redline, it really screams!

I just installed the Stillen Gen 3 intake on my 2010 G37xS Sedan myself. TOok a while but well worth it. Fitment is perfect. I used some dynapad in 2 spots to protect the tubing from hitting metal. At first I didn't really notice any difference. THe few times I gas'd it from a stop in 1-3rd up to 7000RPMs...Holy Surprised. Sounds very nice! I've been getting 2 mpg more too for the past 250miles since I've changed it

Nice gain... DOWN LOW! I've always felt that our G's lacked down low torque, but you just added a bunch.

Oh, and nice top end numbers

Sorry to revive an old thread, but you did say that the installer tuned it before running it on the dyno, right?

So a simple bolt on would not necessarily reflect this performance. If that much torque and power is added, I'd order a set right now haha
