Do you have a sedan? If so, let's see a video clip please.

I just got mine installed yesterday, um...it's not that loud ...at all. I can't tell it's after market muffler while I'm driving, even rev over 3500 rpm, maybe it's because G has great sound proof interior...

Should get a lil bit louder once you put on some miles on it, but the Tanabe is NOT a loud exhaust to begin with. Btw IMO the G has horrible cabin noises.

I think this thread convinced me to go with Stillen. The sound clips on youtube sound the best with Stillen.

Maybe the sedan has more sound proofing vs. the coupe. Clearly, Tanabe on coupe is louder than Tanabe on the sedan.

Guess it makes sense that it's quiet. Tanabe keeps the stock resonators in place. I think those are a major contributor to the quiet sound on the sedan. Plus the Tanabe mufflers simply look like a slightly smaller version of the OEM mufflers. Not much different in design.

The tanabes do get a little louder over time, but not a lot.

I thought about the stillen & Invidia before making my purchase. The stillen does sound louder from the video clips...just hard to tell how loud it really is. Let us know how you like the stillens when you get em on.

So TANABE's aren't really worth the $600+? What about having muffler shop weld on some MagnaFlow universals from the axle back. $100 per muffer $100 labor = total is well below price of Tanabe. Since performance enhancement from axle back exhaust is minimal, this should get the sound that I'm after....and cheaper....and reversable for lease. ANYONE?
