Ebay intake opinion
Granted, some will still argue over the JWT/Injen/Stillen intakes are better, I still see this ebay intake for 230 with free shipping a good deal.
I think the filter has to do more than the actual intake itself. I do agree, a CAI is better, but it doesnt justify its hefty price tag.
Have any of you tried the Ebay intake? I'm thinking of getting one.

I should give you a groin kick for this thread. Never go eBay for our car parts. A intake is more than just a filter. It takes alot of R&D to make a good intake for maximum hp and correct air flow for the a/f ratio. Also you should also take quality into consideration. Your driving a G37 I think you should put out a hundred dollar more and get quality to insure fitment. Just go with a reputable company so you can have good customer service if any problems are to occur. They have a few really good intake for a fair price. To list a few, there is JWT, injen Sri, r2c, and takeda. This is just my opinion though. In the end if the eBay intake makes you happy then I'm all for it but just remember you probably won't get alot of power from a intake on our car so you might as well just go for looks, sound, and quality.

these guys are a little mean, but i agree with them, intakes are the lungs of ur car, dont skimp on them, cus all it takes is some dust to get into ur engine to ruin it, get something with a reputation
then come back on the forum and say there were fitments problem. The mesh grill for example. Neverbonestock got the mesh grill on eBay and he said the fitments was horrible

I agree....if you can pay $40,000+ for this car, you can pay $70 more for an actual BRAND NAME intake that has a bit more quality and R&D. Check out the vendor section, you can get the Injen SRI with Amsoil non-oiled microfiber air filters (practically the best air filter made) for $309 shipped. If you insist on modding with this eBay intake, please do not post on here about how it didn't fit or you had problems......we've warned you. But if it works, hey more power to you. I'm satisfied with my Injen SRI.
Dude, shell out the extra $100 and get yourself the Injens. Save yourself the trouble and you'll have peace of mind knowing that the product you're putting into your $40K car is backed by real R & D.
