Hi all.

I want burnt tips on my exhaust and as well as the dual exhaust set up like the Tanabe's, FI and HKS.

My question is, if I get the Tanabe's or FI, can their tips be "burnt" by a weld shop to a similar effect as the Megan and HKS tips?

Easily. Just make sure your shop takes the time and skill to weld them on straight.

 

I remember Tony from FI saying that TI tips are an option. I think it was in regards to the carbon fiber exhaust. I'm sure if he does offer them on the c/f exhaust, he could put them on any of their other systems.

 

They wouldn't be actually welding anything to it right?, just pointing the weld/torch to the tips, until it turns blue. Or is it another process?
