Trying to decide on which exhaust to go with???

I have searched and searched and read through most threads. I have gotten a lot of great info and advice. I want to ask this one question to narrow it down. I want an exhaust that is just a bit louder and deeper than stock. No Rasp and not too loud. I want it to look great and have that perfect deep sound. Which one should I get? Thanks for the help guys. Oh and money really isn't an issue. I just want that deep but not too loud sound. Thanks.

Anyone??? The two that I like the most are FI cat back and the MXP cat back. I love the deep sound of both but how loud are they? It's hard to judge just how loud they really are from the vids. What about the Stillen? How is that compared to the other two? Thanks again for any help.

I was on the same boat man... I choose mxp. Sounds greats, gains are good, and it's from a well known company and it's not crazy exspensive like hks.

Yeah, I've heard lots of good things about the MXP. Do you have the MXP installed already or are you still waiting for it to come in?

Wait for Meisterchaft, well I'll wait for it and if I like it I'll cut you a deal on a Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber catback. Which is the besttt exhaust out for the G37 as of now!

Same one I was thinking of getting. Saw the vid-drive-by and it sounded great. Though I would prefer to hear it in person the MXP's have sounded the best on vid. Can anyone point us to some great sounding vids? Are yours installed richierich or are you still waiting to get them?

Exhaust isn't supposed to give you huge gains in power, if you get any then that's a plus. I've been told it's more about the sound than the gains. Other mods are supposed to give you the gains.

I thought the difference between MXP's and HKS's wasn't that much, though the MXP's are cheaper (pre-order price).

Well, my buddy got his HKS and installation for a crazy good deal. I heart my Fast Intentions carbon fiber. Awesome sound and the quality of the work is top notch

I'm starting to lean that way, just really don't want to wait 6-8 weeks for exhaust.

i would go for HKS... too bad it doesn't fit on cars with 4WAS.... lame that's why i went with borla instead. listen to sound clips and see which one you seem fit.

back when i first had my car , I wanted a deep nice tuned sound but nothing over the top or too loud. so I choose tanabe axle back.

MXP look is pretty sexy but I prefer a non stacked setup.

after I put Berk HFC on my exhaust sounded even deeper , after Stillen Gen 3, it was crazy deep.

Tanabe really isnt an exhaust for performance but rather for looks and sound. it also wieghs A LOT less than the stock.

I also like how the custom 2.5 or 3" exhaust looks from GTM. have not heard this one though.

Had HKS on my 06 350z, and one of the welds broke, so they can kiss my A$$ now. Ill never buy that brand again.

I think Tanabe or Greddy with silencers on would give you what you're looking for. All the other ones are good but I think they might be too loud for your liking.

Do you care about gains?

Yeah the gains would be nice but not the most important. I really want the look and the nice deep sound.
