As for exhaust, if you want an axle back get Tanabe, or Greddy (only axle back exhaust options)

But I would recommend Fast Intentions, most popular exhaust on the forum.
Isn't the Borla another axle back?

Injen doesn't even have that on their company web page yet, so that's interesting.....and from the looks of the site you posted, the gains of the Injen are the same as all the other SRIs. So like I said before, how many ways can you make a straight pipe with a filter on the end? Trying to say "Fujita is not even in the same league as Injen" when talking about SRIs just makes you sound dumb because the numbers say otherwise. Sounds like someone is obsessed with "branding"......Are you on Injen's payroll?

And who are you to call anybody Newb? What's your vehicle tweeking/repair history? How much wrench time under hoods do you have?

Those 2 CAIs are pretty equal, just depends on the routing and filter location you want.

JWT, Injen, Stillen, and Fujita SRIs are all the same for gains according to reported claims by the manufacturers. So with those, it just depends on how you want it to look under your hood and the price differences.

First off, I wasnt comparing Fujita SRI to Injen SRI, so I dont know where you got that from. And yes, I agree that it doesnt really matter what SRI you get because IMO they all suck cause they aren't CAI. I would rather keep my stock intake vice putting an SRI in. But that is just me. No, I am not obsessed with branding at all, just quality, and the fact that I just dont like Fujita.

Also, a newbie is referred to this site, not how much work you have done to your current car. But just for S&G's, my real project car is in my garage. It is a stripped out '01 Z28 Camaro Interceptor in Black Onyx. Just to name a few of the more important mods cause I really cant remember all of them, it has an aftermarket cam, QTP LT headers & off-road y-pipe, flowmasters exhaust with cutout, ram air intake, Richmond 3.73's, Hurst short-throw shifter, Z06 clutch, FULL suspension, ZR1 replica wheels 9.5/11 with N555R's, and I dont really want to go on. The best part is that with the exception of the 5% tint, the blackouts, and the wheels, the car looks completely stock, of course it doesnt sound that way. Oh and it is an 11 sec car. Next mods are heads and roll cage.

That came from your first reply to my post! If you want to say you weren't talking about Fujita/Injen SRI, then you need to be more specific when you post because the way it reads, you were comparing SRI to SRI. No duh a Fujita SRI doesn't equal an Injen CAI!!!!! I sense backpedaling.....

So if Mr. Shelby joined a forum about mustangs he'd be called a "newbie" because he's new to the site? You'd get smacked........Judging someone by their "Join date" to establish how much experience they have is retarded.

Sounds like a nice Come-Here-Ho with bolt-ons and a cam, but did you do all that yourself or have someone else do it?

Lol haven't heard that since the 4th grade....

I have a question... Has anyone EVER done dyno tests on ANY intake in NORMAL driving conditions?? (i.e. without monster fans blowing on the engine to keep it cool)

The HP claims are all a bunch of bull, last time i checked i didnt see anyone driving down the highway with their hood up for maximum Intake gains.. They are all the same all your doing is opening up your stock air boxes and exposing the filters allowing more air in..

Between CAI and SRI what is the diff in HP 3-5 on a dyno, which translates to 0.5-2 in normal driving conditions...Could anyone ever feel that diff?

This argument is retarted, pick an intake based on what you like, brands you have previously used and enjoyed, reputations, sound etc..
