On an otherwise stock car, my Injens are kinda loud. The sound picks up from 5ish and then gets noticeable at 6k to redline, lots of fun. Sounds like a beast from the outside.

The JWT's i had on my G35 were louder though i think.

man dont worry. This happen for my exhaust too, when i first install i wasnt impress but after 200-300 miles it broke in a little and sound exotic and loud.

Injen was same for me, felt sluggish at first but then after i broke in(took a week) it was LOUD! i could hear over my exhaust and i can feel it pull! you should try driving it in the cold weather too lol, we had two cold days yesturday and i usually dont drive my car during weekdays but I figure i want let me car actually breathe cold air and i was slipping thru first then second for a little bit. I cant wait til i get HFC to see if i can still hear it

Also i hear it starting around 2.5k, at first i thought it was placebo effect after the broke in but then all my friends was all like did you change your exhaust or something cause your car sound way louder and badass.

Congrats on the install!!! Looks good. Mine keep getting better each time I drive. I think the amount of work of removing the bumper vs. removing the front wheels and all of the inner wheel well is about the same by looks of your photos.

Nice job and have fun with those.

Someone (MaxToTheG37) posted earlier about probs with the intakes such as scratches, etc. I did noticed a scratch in one of mine that was covered over with a black marker. I was like, WTF!!!, but it did not affect the integrity and I wasn't about to roundtrip it back. Oh well.

just about coming to a month now since installing these intakes..They are def. a lot louder then when I first put them on. I am now starting to hear air getting sucked in the filters a lot more along with the intake sound in lower RPMs..Also I have driven in MANY heavy rainstorms with no issues what so ever (knock on wood)..

Highly recomend the Injen CAI! DOMO
