thanx for caring so much guys. I got the hood fixed at a shop and its fine now but i still got a problem or maybe its just me. The rpm goes below 1k now but it doesn't go as low as it use to when it idles it goes around 1 and a half bar below 1k rpm is it becasue of the cai? is it normal to not go as low as the stock intake ? and today i fixed the hood but my service engine light turned off and yesterday after i installed injen it was on. Is the service engine light suppose to be on or off when you install a/m parts?

So what was the problem with the hood?

The idle should go back to normal with the CAI. Check your MAF sensors.

Thats weird man, I installed my Injens on friday..no problems at all (knock on wood)

just drove to Boston and back and broke those babies in, they feel good!

 

yeah its not injens fault its my fault! everything is fixed now but i still think the rpm isnt going as low as it use too and how many miles till break in or any specials ways to break it in ?

 

here are some pictures of my injen. The picture with the rpm shot is as low as it goes. Is that okay will it damage my engine?

 

Right when you turn the engine on, it has to warm up.. so it will be at about 1.5ish to 2.5k depending on how cold it is outside. Once it warms up, mine is about the same RPM's as yours, so no worries.. i think your good.

 

Your RPM is right where mine is at. Don't think you have to worry about anything.
