Pics of a Stillen Gen3 CAI install
Hey guys, I just wanted to post a few pics of the Stillen Gen3 CAI that I just had installed in Phoenix. There was a lot more involved than I thought. There was no way that I could have done this myself. We removed the front bumper and the front two wheels, which seems excessive, but wasn't too hard.
Now that they're installed, I just have to figure out how to get to them for cleaning. They're in there pretty good.
The pics are in my Albums right now. I'm still trying to get them on Flickr so they'll show on the post. Let me know if you cant see them.

Yeah, the guys installing it said that the wheels should come off in order to make it easier to get the bumper off. The screw thing was a screw up I think. It worked out either way.

you are crazy. you coulda saved the time taking off the wheels and just turned it to the right or left to access the screw and security thing that just pops out. did mine myself as my first afterarket install and it took 2.5 hours. found out there was this plastic piece that was completely irrelivant so i just took it out. really wish i had a drill with socket extention though. lol

I see your shop is cutting down the length of the t-bolt clamps.. those were designed for the middle sections, and the standard worm drive clamps were for use at the throttle body, due to the width of the clamp itself.
Just make sure everything is secure, and it will be fine, but for others installing the intake, there isn't a need to cut any clamp bolts.
Feedback after the install?
