Let me get this straight..

I have spent probably 10 hours reading through posts, and using the good ol "search" feature..

A clear cut, definitive answer seems to be non-exisitant..

So here is the question... Will i get noticeable (Dyno proven, felt when driving) gains from adding a Stillen Gen 3 and FI CF exhaust WITHOUT A COBB AP and/or TUNE ???

From what i have read there are just as many people that say you will as there are who say you wont...

Is there anything definite on this subject, or is it all still speculative ??

Reason why i ask, is B-Day is coming up... I was going to go for the two previously mentioned, or...

Springs, camber, painted grill headlights iron man and tint..

If power is made without having to tune or buy the ACCESS PORT (or having the car run "lean") then i would prefer the power before all the appearance mods..

Stillen Gen 3 has been dyno-proven, but you know what else was dyno-proven?

JWT pop chargers on bone stock with +10hp and +6tq for almost half the price without a tune. Mine will be up for sale shortly, if you're interested.

I think the car will run lean without a tune with an intake since more air is brought in.

Yea thats what i am thinking myself.. Running lean isnt good for the engine, so if i want to do I/E i should just plan on getting a tune i guess..

to say it plainly... yes you will feel gains... mostly from exhaust mods.... you will get a lil better gains with a tune as well as making your car run correctly (A/F wise)

Hey guys..I'll be honest.. I'm a thief!! I come on these forums to steal info!! I'm not much of a people person!!!!With that said, I have to agree with the young man that said on one of these threads.."why are you looking at your tach?? You should be able to feel when it's time to shift." Well, after modding 3 Gs, I believe you should be able to notice the difference when you add a mod. I don't think any of us can afford to go to the dyno after each mod!! So here is a lil vid that I must say made my day!!! After all, how many times does someone get out of a Lamborghini & ask you what you've got in your G!!!!! I would have put the video of me playing with them, but I'm sure that is taboo on this forum!! ..Anyway, here's the link.
