Talking Installed Nismo CAI

So I had my brother's car for a day and finally installed his Christmas gift I got him, the Nismo CAI.

There were a few minor fitment issues, but it fit pretty dead on. I couldn't use the heat shields that were provided with the kit. There was basically no room and I was a little pissed off already from my manager at work. I'll probably figure that one out another day for now. It took probably an hour and a half since I was trying to make sure nothing went wrong when I was taking out the sensors to switch them over. It gave the car a deeper growl, but I'm not sure about anything power-wise. well here are the pics and videos for those who want to know how it sounds.

No, it was from the 350z set up. I remember there was a dispute on this site or somewhere else saying the Nismo 350z Dual CAI will not fit, but it does fit. Just some minor tweaks and I covered up some of the a/c lines so nothing won't happen to them. Cobbtuning has done this Nismo intake as well I think. Since I work at Nissan, it was around $300. Still steep, but still can get some type of discount on them.

Nice Job! Cobb Tuning also blogged about losing power with those and a few other brands.

Thanks. I haven't had a chance to do the ecu reset yet. For some reason, I can't do it after I read it how to do it by not disconnecting the battery. Hopefully get to successfuly do that and get to see any gains/losses after that.
