Both companies make great products, as Max mentioned, it really comes down to personal preference. I dont really think one is any better than the other; both companies are high quality and both perform. At the end of the day, its kinda like Nike and Reebok; both are great but just personal preferences.

I wonder what the percentage of people without CEL problem is, maybe it's time for a poll?

Excellent idea. Start it up man. I think we should include vendor as HFC as well.

Very imformative post guys. Both are great brands. It's either Price and quality vs lower price and still good quality.

Well, at least this thread gave us an idea of the kind of after sale customer service to expect after making your order from both vendors...

Since everyone on the forum buys F.I directly, Im sure Tony is a busy guy and prob doesnt have time to get to every call/pm asap. I know that if you buy the Berks w/ us, we handle any issues which may come up, since we are their dealer. Its our job to handle any praises/issues which may come up from each order.

ah so this is why shumby was banned lol.

its sad how customers get so biased sometime. it works in both directions - people love or hate whoever they did business with and cant seem to be objective.

props again to ben for a great side-by-side comparison without showing any favor.

Berk thoughts

I have had Berks on for 8 months or so. Installed by the dealership, CEL illuminates next morning after install. I, of course, assume its due to the nrw Berks, and not my own buffoonery in not clicking the gas cap at least three times after refuelling on way home from dealership. Berk was very responsive to my immediate contact after the CEL came on and prior to my taking it to the dealership, where I learned the finer points of "refuelling system closure installation." Moral of the story - assumptions can be bad; Berk was prompt in reply just like FI seems to be here on the forum, and don't forget the sense of humor.

I have had my Berks for about 2 months now and have not had one issue. I installed them along with the borla myself and took my time going back over every bolt to make sure it was snug. I only got one set of gaskets on the header side and I just reused the gaskets to connect to the exhaust as I only had 4800 miles on them. No lights whatsoever have ever popped up for me. I think every car responds differently and it's hard to say what the direct cause is. All I know is that I took my time and really treated those sensors like a newborn baby and I have not had any issues.

Oh, and the berks I have are the new v2's.
