Thumbs up Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber Exhaust Review

Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber Exhaust Review.

After 4 different exhaust on my car... I can finally found the PERFECT exhaust for me...

SHipping and packing: Damn I thought Id never be able to get the pieces out of the bubble wrap... Perfect Shipping...

My thoughts on the look: The tips are nice and shiny. They do NOT stick out too far and has a nice clean look. The Carbon Fiber looks great from the rear. The piping looks Perfect... Nice and Shiny as well... Welds look great and there is no lip, (just smoothness) where the flanges are welded to the piping.

Start up: Very Nice Deep Growl. I was actually suprised at the how deep it was.

Idle: I walked to the rear to listen and the rumble was subtle but DEEP. Coming from the Borla I thought it was as deep as this car would be and didnt expect this one to be as deep. But it was

Rev up in car: This is the way this car is suppose to sound. A very nice exhaust tone all the way through the RPM range. Something I also noticed was that the possible VVTL noise that some have complained with HFCs and Aftermarket exhausts is almost none existent... When I had the Stillen and Borla on you could hear it very easily... but with this exhaust ... its not noticable.

Rev up outside at rear: This is what SHOCKED me. I have FI HFCs and when I had the Borla on there was a hint of rasp when it was revved all the way up to the top end of the RPM range... but with this exhaust there is none... Which was what pleased me the most!

Driving with windows up and normal driving: Pretty normal.... If you are in 6th gear and low rpms you can hear a smidge of drone but if you like aftermarket exhausts then you can handle it.

Driving with windows up at WOT:
Crazy... talk about wanting to go WOT all the time...

Driving with windows down and normal driving: Its noticably louder but like I said if your into an aftermarket exhaust you will LOVE THIS!!!

Driving with windows down at WOT: This Deep sounding tone will make you wanna drive with the windows down all the time!

Drive by outside car:
The car sounds like a Mean Performance Machine... Im talking head turning, mouth dropping, Performance machine.

Over all thoughts- As I said this is the best exhaust that I have had. This will be my last exhaust as I am 100% satisfied with the FI CF exhaust. It has the look, the sound, and the performance I am looking for.

POWER: The car felt just like it did with the Borla exhaust. The piping was a full 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back which was a big difference from STILLEN and the BORLA. As those 2 exhaust were 2.25 piping.

LOUDNESS???: Alot of people are asking which is the loudest exhaust....Over all my personal opinion comparing the Stillen/Borla/FI-CF would be that the Stillen is not loud out all.... Borla was the loudest at the Top end with a more of a High Pitched sound... and the FI-CF has a better tone over all but is not as loud as the Borla on the top end, maybe more midrange than Borla but over all a nicer sounding exhaust.

Pictures and Videos will be up soon. EDIT: As soon as I find my cam to PC cord

I am glad that you like the FI-CF exhaust. I knew you would. And once again great write up.

The Fast Intention Carbon Fiber exhaust is great. I have gotten use to how load it is but because it is a deep rumble I don't really mind. Now if it would just stop shaking my car port in the morning because the tone is so low then that would be great. lol

ok I've got a question and hope I don't get flamed for itt lol wouldn't this exhaust sound the same as the regular fast intentions the ones that now have the rounded mufflers... because its basicly the same exact exhaust with just carbon fiber mufflers right?? would the CF mufflers make that big a difference in sound??

This exhaust is a little deeper and loader than the Intimidator Exhaust because of the mufflers.
