I might be able to get a pic next to one, thats about it. I'd love to run it down the taxiway.

Any ETA on when you're going to have the exhaust checked out? I kind of want to get an idea if that pipe is fixable.

probably next week, i'll be taking a look at the magnaflow exhaust and see about welding a bracket for the counter weights.

The problem is that the x-pipe does not have a counter weight on it like the OEM exhaust does. The x-pipe is vibrating causing that weird noise.

Do you have HFC's installed. I ask because i took off my magnaflow exhaust (cause i may be trading the car in) and I have HFC's and get the noise but it's not very loud.

I have the same issue with just HFC's. It's not that loud though. My guess it's just from the extra flow of exhaust.

I have the same noise..have had it checked by AAM in Maryland & the local Infiniti dealer..It's the hfcs..I changed mine from Stillen to AAM & still have the noise..did not have the noise with the stock exhaust or after I installed my Magnaflow. So it's definitely the cats!!! I was told it's fairly normal & it has to do with the way the air is flowing thru the after market parts!!! Mine sounds more like a lil whistle!!!

When I added my test pipes I started hearing that noise only during deceleration. From what I was told on here is that the noise is the vvel thats all. I actually dont hear it anymore though, only when the car is cold

I get it at around 2k rpm, oh deceleration, I can hear it on acceleration too but only if you listen really hard. I have a G35 sedan we don't have Vvel lol.
