Those of you with them chime in here. Feel any gains on the dyno butt? Do they make the car MUCH louder(surely hope so)? Do they give the car a deeper mustang sort of growl? Thanks in advance.

 

I put headers on at the same time as HFC's so I couldn't say how much the headers alone rate on my butt dyno. I will say tho that I can now chirp into second and sometimes 3rd where I couldn't before. As far as the sound goes, it sounds pretty mean compared to stock, but it makes the stock exhaust rattle like a banshee untill she warms up. It was the same way on my G35. Before I got a catback it needed to warm up to stop rattling. I hope to have enough time this weekend to throw on the CF catback that came yesterday so I won't have any more rattle. I reccomend getting the headers but if you do definately get the ceramics because for just a few more bucks, they'll keep the underhood temps cooler, and they won't change color and look like crap when they heat up the first few times you use your car.

Stillen headers are great. They provide a noticeable boost when installed. They lower the tone of your exhaust a bit, but dont make it much louder. When compared to the stock headers, you can see they are more free flowing, less constrictive. I say a good mod if you have the $$ fo sho!

 

they will probably give more performance once a real tuning solution is released for our cars.
