JWTs and heat

I was at the dealer this morning for some buzzing and rattling issues with the exhaust, and I looked at the temp guage and saw that the stock intakes run pretty cool. I think the temp sits in between the 4 and 5 dash. When I put my JWTs back on and drove it around some, I noticed that the temp guage went up some. It was still in between 4-5 dash, but more near the 5 dash. I know the passenger side is a tight fight, but I am pretty sure I am not touching any metal or hot pieces. The passengers side filter is jammed against the heat shield though. Driver's side fits perfectly. Just wondering if anyone else notices this? Or maybe I am just imagining a temp diffference, or I installed incorrectly? Thanks for any suggestions.

As long as the smoke doesn't get out of your engine.. your fine. j/k. Old electronic joke that amazingly applies.

You're just imagining it, the coolant will sit around 205 when idling and 190 when driving, no matter what intakes you have on.

The intake wouldn't have anything to do with this temp gauge. The radiator is used to cool the engine. The intake is used to supply air for the chemical reaction. Cool air means better performance and that is about it.
