There are holes in the front core support, they need to be slightly enlarged by cutting, for example with a rotary tool (dremel), to accommodate the size of the pipe.

You can see the instructions HERE for more information, including a picture of the hole for reference.

As far as whether or not to remove the front fascia, it just makes it easier to get in there, enlarge the holes, and have additional room for installation. But it is not required to actually install the intakes.

They are Sucking air. How difficult is this for YOU to understand. Your motor is really an AIR PUMP. Are you deaf?

of course it's blocking some air flow, but it's not enough to overheat the car.

I'd agree, there's no issue here with radiator blocking, however I would have prefered to remove the 90 degree bend in the piping and put the air filters on the sides of the radiator facing end cap front. Still plenty of cold air access, no radiator blocking, no bend in the piping and a little more protection from the enviroment... that's my nickel on the design. Perhaps Gen 4

if i were to be deaf, i could still read. maybe u mean blind

you're acting like if someone with this intake were to turn the G on the radiator would explode due to overheating.

Except that you're not realizing that each bend, each increase or decrease in sizing of the pipe, MAF location etc will vary the horsepower and function of the intake. We went through over 50 variations to come up with the power gains we got.

The intake, pipe lengths, pipe bends, all aspects of the location of filters, etc were carefully crafted, placed and tested over and over to produce maximum power. Simply capping the pipes at the radiator seems like a logical idea, but is disasterous for actual function and power gains.

I guess what we come out of with that is power's not logical, I stand corrected.

Please go back and read my responses. I did NOT say it would overheat and in fact I said it would probably be fine as designed. I was just commenting on the dynamics of the actual Physics involved in the dispersal of the air and made a comment regarding how NASCAR cars deal with cooling since it appeared that the information was a little bit erroneous. I raced for many years so I have some experience with this stuff.

Others have more concern about the overheating aspects, but I don't. To be honest this is the first intake I actually am considering Just trying to keep the conversation on the up and up so there are no disappointments and Stillen doesn't have to deal with headaches.

Au revoir Be happy!

I'm talking about that the design isn't going to affect the radiator that much at all.

what are you talking about? what's your point?

I know it's probably proprietary but it'd be interesting to see some of the designs that didn't make it.......

So, when's the testing gonna begin?

Now it's making sense why you're being such a *****.
Your posts are counter productive. Instead of discussing an apparent potential cooling issue, you're defending it with blind faith.
