Thanks for the kind words everyone. I like the exhaust and I think it fits my needs the best of any I've heard or had so far.

The only two gripes I have is that the Magnaflow had killer exhaust tips that were perfectly flush with the rear valance. The Stillens are not quite as nice and protrude a touch. Also, I just hate the look of U-bolt clamps. I know it's a proven way to join two pipes but it ain't pretty. Nitpicking I know but there are pros and cons to everything.

I just don't like the fact that Stillen doesn't come with a flex-hose behind the cats. They didn't do it on the G35x and now again with the G37. I am concerned with reliability issues.

Funny thing ironchef today I was driving my G and had windows down and thought "maybe the magnaflow is to quiet after all", I want more sound, LOL!!
I guess it's different strokes for different folks for sure, but I'm still happy with the Magnaflow, guess I just got used to it, at first I thought it was loud enough but now I want more noise.

As for the 2000 RPM drone, it has really gone away almost completely for me since being broken in, although I am 6MT and avoid 2k anyway (I shift just below 3k usually) so really never was problem for me to begin with. On another funny point, my girlfriend was in the car Saturday night and I was just cruising in 6th and slowed down to point where I was around 2k RPM and she said, "wow, I love it when the exhaust makes that sound" she actually likes the drone, go figure, LMAO!!

I tell you, exhaust sound is just as subjective as stereo sound. The Magnaflow had sound in so many different places on the rpm band. It just wasn't a great fit for me and certaintly not the wife. The Stillen is the polar opposite. It is virtually stock unless you're on it. For me, that's a win-win. If I stay off the gas, no drone and the wife's happy. When I get on it, all of the sound I want is right there waiting for me. I think this is what Stillen means by refined sound. I guess now that I'm older, I'm trending towards this style of exhaust more so. I know I would've preferrred the Magnaflow or even the Borla in my earlier years.

I also like how you could really control the loudness of stillen Exhaust.
It also has nice gain. I got 10HP/10TQ with intake.
Sounds very quiet, not even notice that it's after market exhaust but
when woot, you could really hear the exhaust note.
Now I added FI HFC so exhaust note got deeper & little raspier.
will see how it changes when JWT Intake arrives.
Here are my exhaust note with & without FI HFC.

Are you saying the Exhaust gave you 10hp or the Stillen intakes gave you 10hp?

I did the dyno before and after and I believe you (max) saw my dyno before
on 4th gear. If you want I'll post my dyno again.
I did get 10HP/10TQ from stock to adding Catback/Intake.

YEa that makes sense.... I thought you were saying taht you gained 10hp from the intake...

Id say your exhaust prolly made 12-14hp and the intakes took away a couple hp from ya...

Max, you are right on that.
That's why I'm getting JWT popcharger.
I hope to see more gain.
