Injen Installed ***Pics***

Took 3 hours + 1 hour dinner/break...longest intake install ever. Not sure if people noticed the revision, but compared to the old pictures of the intake, the MAF sensors are more discreet.

GameDog's

Mine

In any event, the install went relatively well. I did get the low washer fluid sensor working though, so that was awesome. Dremel + marine sealant seemed to do the trick. On a side note, the front air baffles from the stock intake cannot be taken off without taking off the bumper (screws are facing forward). Doesn't really matter too much though, as it just helps air get into the engine bay. On the downside, mine seem to slightly press against the intake on the passenger side (the driver's side clears fine)...So I put a piece of hose there to protect the intake from getting scuffed up.

These things sound nuts 5K and above. For sure they make power, but I'll see what people's dynos say. I wasn't able to do one, but the funny thing was I did the whole install in front of the dyno ramp. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product. Car sounds mean as hell...Can't wait to unlock the ECU.

Props to my buddy at Stage 6 for helping out and letting me use the shop.

I take it you didn't pop the bumper off for install? Because if you did, you could take out the air duct that's hitting your passenger side pipe

Feels good low end. I don't notice any loss at all...actually feels better, lol.

Nope, didn't take off the bumper. Did the install through the wheel wells. I wanted to keep the ducts to help air get into the engine bay.

That looks really good! So is there anymore input on the washer fluid sensor install? Just drill and seal? or is there threading etc. that you have to do?

I think I'm gonna wait till there's something out where I can use the dyno to tune the car...but who knows, I might get antsy.

Not much really. I cut open my stock washer fluid bottle to take the sensor and rubber ring out. As far as the Injen washer bottle, just cut a hole and use a dremel to slowly increase the hole till the rubber ring fits. Once it does, seal around the rubber ring with marine sealant and viola.

I have a lease... so cutting the orginal might be a bad thing. Or I could leave the injen aftermarket in when i take the actual intakes off i guess.

just leave the sensor on the original reservoir... how often do you use that stuff anyway? i've used mine TWICE since August of last year...
