any bumper melting issues with FI exhaust?

Nam,

From the picture it looks like you have plenty of clearance between the top of the tip and the bumper. The only thing I could chalk it up to be is that the tip in single wall opposed to our other tips which are dual wall. The major difference in the two, the single wall tip will let off more heat.

However, I have plenty of other cars out there with the Titanium tip and with all honesty, I have to say you are the first person with this problem.

There might be a fix though, you will have to remove the rear hanger on the car and bend it so the muffler section has a little more distance between the tip and the bumper. REMEMBER, if you do this to the passenger side, you will have to do it to the driver side as well to match it. Let me know what I can do to help...

hey tony thanks for chiming in....i think i'm gonna try to bend that hanger....i just dont know if i'll be able to...the hanger looks pretty solid...wonder if i put some heat on it, it might work

It is very solid hanger and if you put any heat on it be VERY careful not to cook anything in that vicinity. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you do that, TAKE IT OFF OF THE CAR TO DO IT. Let me know how it goes...
