g37 Y-pipe

Well i went to Exhaust Depot and got a Y pipe put on the car. Our y-pipe stock is only 1.75". We put a 2.5" y-pipe on the car and it picked up some power above 5k RPM. Hector said he will be selling these at $250 a piece.

Is that black or crome? It looks crome in the bottom pic but black on the G.

I had been waiting on someone to release something like this.

How much extra power do you think it got out of the Y-pipe?

Did it make the exhaust sound any different?

Some of the previous gens aftermarket y-pipes would make the exhaust a littl emore raspy. I think that the UT y-pipe was designed such that the connection to the midpipe was equal diameter and that eliminated the rasp. I wonder if the same issue would exist for the G37...

Thanks

Very affordable. Nice. Didn't know the stock y-pipe was only 1.75. What's the diameter of the stock mid-pipe?
