sounds good...a lil raspy, but i was told by him, it was when teh car was cold...overall i like it, sounds a lil louder then a stock G37 and i approve!

It sounds alot sweeter in person and once its warmed up. I have to say it is quiet at idle and not very loud a wot. But thats how I wanted it, deep, low, and refined. If you want a really loud exhaust this isnt for you. But maybe with hi flows...???

 

so on a scale from 1-10 how loud is OEM for you
and on a scale from 1-10 how loud is the magna flow?

 

At idle i would say they are almost the same. During normal driving I would say stock is about 2/3 and the magnaflow about 4/5. Now when you stomp it it is probaly about 3-4 points higher than the stock exhaust. I have had 2 supercharged mustangs with open exhaust, so both are really quiet to me.

me too.... and raspy.... when its cold.... concerns me....
i was expecting tanabe medalion sound... deep low growl...
but 9whp gain looks pretty good for $500 exhaust system. =]

 

If I am goiing to spend 500 range for an exhaust mod I rrather get HFC which yield more power, nice combo with my JWT.

i was just thinking about getting FI HFC instead of this...sorry....
and JWT next week! cant wait!!!!!
