I feel there may be a little low end torque loss but not much if any. With any loss of back pressure you are going to have a a drop down low. The thing is you are not losing power you are just moving it up the rpm band. I mean when you are "at the drag strip" How often are you under 1500-2000rpm anyway?
And about the popping. I myself have not heard an y popping from inside the car since I first put the system on.
There is a drone when cruising 1500-2000rpm on the street but with my music turned on I barely notice it.

Ive already answered a few of these, but its hard to put numbers on these. It all subjective. I would answer but there is no way it may match up to your comparison. It pulls harder at the mid/high range vs stock. Its prob under twice as loud vs stock under load. The drone is not bad 4 at cruising speeds. I dont know how to rate the last one. I have explained all this in previous posts.

If it's truly one or the other, get the cats. If it's one BEFORE the other (meaning you will eventually get an exhaust), get the exhaust, as this price may not last forever.
