I think they are only axle back exhaust, not catback.

whats the diff between axel back and catback? im kinda new to exhaust systems. would it be not worth it to get this? is a catback exhaust much better and worth getting or will this improve hp and give me a deep sound? thanks guys

 

axle back is from the Y pipe and back... cat back is all the way from the cats... a cat back will give you better gains

 

but probably like 1-3 more gains..not worth the extra 400 dollars..if you want to spend about 1.3k for a hks, then suree. your money.

 

why cheap out on the car... save up a little longer and buy a full cat back... it just doesnt make sense not to IMO... its not like these gains are huge numbers where you can loose a third and its not a big deal... and its not like this is a cheap axle back either...

 

If only we had numbers for our car on these Axle back systems...

 

yea a dyno would be nice... someone needs to do one. Maybe they will prove my theory wrong.. that would be great

 

how is buying a 700 exhaust "cheap out the car"? ebay fartcans is cheaping out the car.

 

like i said its my opinion... you said why spend 1300... which is not TONS of more money... but some people do things differently... its like buying a replica bumper over a real one...

 

Gigga.... I want to add my personal opinion... the Y and the mid pipe is going to yeild more that 1-3hp... If you will get under there and look... you will see how horrible the stock exhaust is... Its going to yeild at least 5-6... it has to... the pipes are sooo small....

Catback is worth IMO.

 

i was stating that towards steveng37. he asked about the hks, they usually cost around 1.3k. its tons of money to someone that has better things to spend it on. i have to pay for three summer schools this summer and have to pay for gas..so, yea, 600 is money i can pay for summer school...

 

yea im guessing you havent really seen the stock exhaust... im tempted to go outside and take some pictures of mine... it really is a terrible design and it gets NARROW at times...

 

ahh, i was talking about the cat-back probably make more than 1-3 hp more than the axle back of the greddy. sorry that i was misunderstood.
