Dyno Vids of Injen Intake!
They don't want to release them yet. Just wait and see what they release. You guys do all this complaining about how you want to see how it looks and sounds AND when they get you this you complain that it is not enough info and worthless without numbers. You all need to get just a little patience. It is not like there is any other intake on the market that is getting good numbers so there are no chooses. If it takes them a little longer to get some accurate and steady numbers then I will wait. If they release it and we find out that their is no increase then I say big deal since no one else has released a good intake. BUT if they do then I will be happy.
The pics have been around for a while. The numbers are supposed to be 12 (+/-) HP and 10 (+/-) lb/ft vs. Stillen @ 10 HP and 9 lb/ft. Those numbers are about average for a quality intake.
Short tubes will be louder than long tubes, natch. You're hearing the throttle bodies opening up. The stock system has baffles to make it quiet.
To get the best results you'll need the complete intake, header, HFC and exhaust. Throttle body mods are recommended, too. With the complete system and the right tune you might see 25 -35 HP and maybe 20 - 25 or so lb/ft on a normally aspirated engine. All those parts are finally available.
The next problem is the lack of a an after market ECU system (Hondata or similar) for the G37. That means you can't set the air/fuel and timing maps for the equipment you have and the "learning" ECU can only learn so much.
ECU upgrades and piggy back ECU systems should be available in the US soon (hello Technosquare). IMPUL already has a performance ECU for the Japan market but it's not programmable.

I understand that Terrible but my only problem is that is what they "said." I would just like some proof. Anyone can say anything they want but that doesn't make it proof. I am not denying that those intakes don't make power but I just want a before and after dyno to show as proof.

I understand you guys want numbers numbers numbers but keep in mind that the numbers arent yet finalized... I will talk to the folks at Injen tomorrow to see if I can post some "UN-FINISHED PRODUCT NUMBERS" so that you guys know how far Injen has gotten with these intakes and how far they want to go... But once again, I cant promise anything... Don't want to make any promises that I cant keep...
Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but i found this in another thread... This is with a Stillen Intake and Stillen Exhaust Install before and after...
