Everything thing will run more efficiant and flow better. You will get better gains from supercharger without adding boost... Plus it will sound MUCH better!

HFCs are closer to 500 bucks... and normally you pay 150 for the install of them.... after taxes and lil stuff your flirting with 2500 bucks... add a cattback installed and your looking around 3700 bucks... add intakes and your looking at over 4k....ouch ouch ouch... but ...hey ... its a hobby... mods are toys and luxury items... you gotta pay to play...

If you get a Supercharger/Turbo, you still need the aftermarket exhaust and HFC's. Plus a handful of other parts + tuning. Buy parts that will one day compliment your forced induction if those are your ultimate plans.

I agree. But defiantly wouldn't have HFC on a FI system. But also I don't have emissions where I live and I somethimes forget about things like that. Build for the future. But on these motors headers are going to be small, even with FI. The factory manifold flow pretty well on this motor. And obviously turbo's are not going to have turbo manifolds. Unless single turbo. But I don't really see anyone going that route no more on this motor. That's another story in it's self.

i disagree, with a hfc and exhaust, you are already around 18 hp. with the other things, you can get it up around that mark.

Me doing RICER math?!?!?!?!?!? LoL There is a dyno showed above that CATS and Headers add 17 HP but you say that realistically 15-18 for headers/exhaust/CATS/Intakes.. So intakes and exhaust = 1HP?

Of course no cat with a turbo set up would be optimal but I would say that if you needed to stay smog legal that a metal substrate as opposed to ceramic would be wise considering the fact that a FI setup runs very rich for saftey. The unburned (or still burning) fuel that exits the cylinder, thru the turbine and on to the cat can melt down a mortal cat under track duty. I've seen this a few times on aftermarket turbo applications.
