Seems kinda backwards. Once you do header you are all in. Unless you are doing the install your self by the time you pay the labor for header install, you could have gone exhaust and got just as much power plus the look and sound that comes with it.

The STILLEN ceramic 409 stainless steel headers were $750 and the install was $650. So it's an expensive mod to do. But if you have exhaust and intake and hfc's. It really completes the package. The biggest feature on them that was impressive was the fitment. It was dead on no mods necesary. Well good luck to whoever gets them and let me know how you like them.

Inkum,

When building an exhaust you need to think about restrictions; what flows well in your system and what doesn't? Do the stock manifolds flow well enough? I assume so but no one knows yet for sure how well. By replacing your stock shorty equal length tubes with like designed ceramic coated mild steel tubes all you've done is possibly better controlled heat dissipation. Has the tube diameter changed? Is the merge collector different? How can these after-market shorty headers possibly flow better than stock?

If they do now where is the restriction? Stock cats? Yep. B-pipe? Yep. Stock muffler? Yep. $750 is not worth the insignificant gains you will get from this mod alone.
