Borla Exhaust Question !
I have been in talks with Borla and they have no dyno sheets yet..same for sound. The told me to go listed to a 350Z on youtube....
Also asked about noise db, no numbers at this time.
Really hard to make a choice when there is not enough 411

I've been trying to track down our DynoJet results from when we dyno'd the G37. Our R&D Dept. is closed for the weekend but I should have something for you all by Monday. Thanks for your interest in our exhaust system!

Chris,
You guys ever considered making your kit bolt together instead of slide and clamp?
I know you guys are famous for your exhuaust, and it sounds great on the cars I have heard it on, but clamping just seems so cheezy to me. It is also hard to justify the $$$ for yours when so many others have similar bolt together systems for the same or less than yours.
Anyway, appreciate any feedback and cannot wait to see and hear what the Borla system can do for the G.

Found this video of a g37 with Borla. Honestly sounds better then the 350z. I'm getting excited.

ahah sorry about that its just that i was caught up with finals but im done now... btw i really like what you have done with your G37... i own one now and in the future im planning on tuning it up... so usually i do a lot of reading and research i really want to optimize it to the best...
The only change between the pulls was the addition of the borla exhaust? No tune, no other mods??? These numbers look great and the sound is tremendous. Anyone on the forum here have these yet? I'd like to see independent dynos done to qualify what Borla has.
Just to clarify, we do not officially sanction video/sound clips of our exhausts. It's our contention that the best way to hear one of our exhaust systems is to experience it in person. The concern with online clips is that you cease comparing exhaust note/feel and end up comparing microphones. Add that to the quality lost in compression algorithms and the prevalent use of less-than-ideal computer speakers, and the result is distorted to say the least.
That said, we realize that not everyone is going to be able to hear our exhaust in person before ordering it. This is why we refer interested enthusiasts to YouTube and the such. As this is a frequently asked question, we continue to discuss the future possibility of recording clips for release. Until then however, we feel confident standing behind our 30 years of experience, proven race-winning technology, craftsmanship, durability, unique exhaust note, and performance gains.
