So i guess putting my car on my dyno doing some pulls stock and then putting the intake on and doing some pulls after and gaining 9whp means nothing.

I think most if not all the intakes (that are out) have the power at the top of the powerband. I think most of them actually loss a little at the bottom end which is a compaint from most. Still you do get more power according to the dynos with the intakes that have been released.

I agree. to be honest, and if this were any other car i'd feel differently, i think this car already sounds superb as is. if i make any mods it'll be because of hp gain. and even that, i think the car pulls pretty well for what i need it to do. im my opinion, replacing the exhaust and maybe even the intake would take away from the distictive G sound we all love so much. whats more, is that other people recognize the sound and know when you roll by, THAT WAS A G!...

I had and intake and exhaust on my g35c and i never really saw enough of a difference to merrit me doing it again. Beside, the G37 is so well insulated, you'd have to stick your head out the window like a golden retriever on a roadtrip to even hear the significant sound differnce....or put a camera behind your car in a closed garage and put it on youtube.

anyways, those have been my experiences. These are the concequences of buying an ALREADY great vehicle. it comes with almost everything you'd like to get on anyother car. thats why its called a G.

The car never came off the dyno, intakes were installed on the dyno. Did about 20 something pulls total. All within 1hp of each other.

Ohhh I see I saw that a while ago. I was very excited after seeing that but then read a lot of other posts on intakes and such and kinda got convinced that they really wont do anything but sound/look good.
