i'm looking at buying a g37s in the next month or so, this is the exhaust i'm looking into. i'm glad it doesn't have big ricer tips because the g37 is not a hon-duh and is much classier then that.

I wonder how the 3.7 would do with an x-pipe instead of the mid muffler? Sound aggression and performance should increase plus you gain the benefits of scavenging... Anyone have the ability to test?

The Magnaflow in the middle is essentially an x-pipe. The 2 inputs combine into a common chamber then exit out the 2 output openings.

If you look through any opening into the muffler, you will see clear through to both the 2 openings on the other side.

Why not just run a real X there? Could have shaved almost $200 off. The piping is 2.5" I assume?

I'm guessing it would probably get pretty loud? I believe FI has played around with many configurations doing their 350Z version.
