You guys can get any exhaust you want but why is tanabe being so secretive about their dyno #'s??

IF i had the best product i would want them all to know. Dyno #'s will be up by monday with the sound clips from Tony. IF you want to promote Tanabe so much get the dyno #'s

, i do not have their dyno #'s. exhausts does not make that much hp anyways, its all about the sound, that is why people get the exhaust, not for their power.

Yes, Tanabe is just mufflers they have pictures up now.

For me it's.

1. Sound - Deep and low, but not so loud to drone anoyingly at speed.
2. Looks, quality build and materials
3. Gas milage benefit
4. Performance... not really needing it, but if it comes with the three above I won't throw it out of bed.

I'm betting 3 and 4 and linked at the hip so a dyno would be helpful.

Tanabe is not secretive about their numbers, I posted it on a previous thread it is an axel back system and produced a 8hp/7tq gain(to the wheels). This is a top aftermarket company and has developed exhausts for multiple types of cars.

As for it only being an axle back, the price should range from $650-800. I will ask about a group buy if members are interested. With our cars there is no need to change the pipes because the exhaust design is already so great, the only lag was in the rear section of the car. But if members would like to pay an extra $300-500 dollars for pipes be my guest, what's not broken doesnt need to be fixed like a few of you learned with Fuijita intakes.

As for thread jacking, this is a community site if members want information on parts people should be able to answer it without creating a whole new post. If you reference my first Tanabe sound clip post, (Solo) was all over it promoting Fast Intentions product, do I care? no.... neither one of us gets paid to advertise for these companies, were just trying to get the best accurate information for you members who will spend money modifying your cars. This is not a promotion war.

Eh...There are better ones out there. HKS, Amuse, Greddy, Mine's, Top Secret, ARC, etc etc. Personally, I'm gonna wait and see what else comes out. Whatever it is, I'm going cat-back for my own purposes/preferences.

1. Performance
2. Sound
3. Looks, quality build and materials

I strongly agree I did not say it was the best. Amuse, Top Secret = $$$$ but very good if you can get your hands on it and afford it.

Hey Vik ... can you tell me where in the RPM you get the peak noise? Just wondering if it is close to the G35 version (2400 to 2600).
