Fujita intake Before and after dyno run.
we are not hating. we are trying to make sure that the test was done to have the most accurate results. why would we hate? we're all G37 owners and since there are not a lot of mods to choose from, a mod that delivers would be very welcome.
when it comes to mods and dynos there will always be skeptisism since there are so many people who rig dynos and/or give inaccurate readings that mislead so many people.
don't tkae the posts here as an attack. they are not. we are merely trying to ascentain that the test was done right and that ythe mod itself does indeed produce the power that was stated (which it looks like it did).

was this the highest stock run? also, how many miles did the stock filters have on them before switching over to the fujitas? its possible taht alot of the gain is coming from the clean filter and the rest from taking the lowest stock run and the highest fujita run. i don't know why u would rig the readings, but from everything else i've seen (more on my350z.com), the fugita's don't do anything for more power, and some even cause drivablitiy problems. there was even a person who's intake (i think the passenger side one) had the maf adaptor welded in backwards

I don't question the dyno at all. I beleive that when you crank your car, let it warm to operating temps and drive it initially, you will see these gains or similar. I just wonder about everyday extended driving conditions.
As one other person mentioned- to the OP- we are not hating just exploring every aspect of what could possibly affect the dyno numbers and how that will translate into street driving or performance on a race track.
I am glad to see the gains potential. We want to believe that this system is a winner.
If someone takes it out to the track and has results that are noticeably better than stock 1/4 mile times, I am sure most of us on the fence will be all over this thing.
If this were not a short ram intake but a more conventional intake system not prone to heat soak there again we would not even have these questions even come up.

I am REALLY starting to doubt my intakes. I lost to a 06 g35 last night. by about 1.5 cars. He did have test pipes and a intake though. I dont know what he is supposedly putting down the the wheels
