Finally, an independent dyno run with the Fujitas

Hey Evil, did you have to reset the ECU after install?

i brought this up on a recent thread about dynoing with your hood up and downn. This is the firsst dyno i noticed with hood down!

Max1ma has the fujita and he claims he has no power from the intakes. So i dk what how this dyno is true.
-yet he also stated that he didnt lose power.

But if thesse intakes did give either 4-5 or 10-12 you would feel a difference and he dont.

What i herd the reduce low end power. But not according to max who i will believe bc he has them and he feels the diff in person

We did it with the hood closed because you dont drive your car with the hood open on the street. Trying to make it as real world as possible.

My car lost no power at all anywhere, all it did was gain power all the way threw. I dont know how much more proof you need.

u're not gonna notice much difference with only an intake....9hp?? that's not enough to make a difference on ur BUTT dyno...and unless u run the 1/4 mile on the same day in the same weather conditions and get exactly the same start, same 60ft and same shift points then u'll actually be able to tell if the intake made a diffference...but 9hp alone will not give u a noticeable increase in speed

but a lil mod here and there all adds up

wow you have dyno proof and your goin to take a couple guys opinions from there butts.... and your disregarding the Independant dyno above... not using common sense too much are ya?

Point: This intake makes your car faster period. (hard evidence above)

I don't think there is a question at this point about the Fujita addiing power. It can obviously do that. I am now on the fence regarding the short ram intake. I only wonder what it's resistance to heat is- after driving the car for a while and getting it hot under the hood.

dynos and real life conditions are two different things. dynos are meant to take a baseline and see diffrences in modifications and a/fs...nothing more. it does not promise better 1/4 mile times.

broo the dyno says one thing.. but when ur driving it why do more the half the people that have them say they dont want them or want to sell them bc no power gains or loss of low end power. Dyno can say one thing, but ill believe what people say before and after they race there cars.
