How's it goin' folks?!?!?
I'm new to this particular automotive entusiast forum, but am active on various other ones (ie. TM3, JDMR, TAC, TSC, TPC, TTS, etc.).

I'm looking to move on to another car, and have been looking at Infiniti for a while now. I wanted to get people's opionions on the 2008 G37 Coupe Sport and 2008 G35X Sedan. Are there any issues I should be aware of?!?!?

I would say your best bet would be to do some searching on the forums and looking into any recalls for the vehicle you are looking for. This website has been around for a long time so this topic has been covered repeatedly.

 

Thanks for the headsup. Actually, that's why I decided to ask here.
So my initial search came up with electical issues (ie. check engine light turning on repeatedly for 2006 G's and below), but I'm sure there must be more that just this.

Other than things like gas consumption and using premium gas, is there anything else I should be worried about concerning the said year and models?

 

I've read various issues with seat squeak, how to maintain the seat leather, and various rattles at cruising speeds and those issues have been reported by many members but for myself I haven't had any issues with my g.

 

Thanks Rikter for the 411. That's definitely info I was not aware of.... but nonetheless, issues that seem not too expensive to fix.
