Anyone rocking Stillen Gen 3's on their coupe or sedan? I am on the fence and would love to hear them in person. Preferably 6MT cars but automatics would do the job i guess.

Stillen prices suck for Canada but I have managed to get a deal for 499 shipped to your door new.

I am actually so turned off by their lack of compromising for my group buy that I think I have decided to go with another brand for the CAI. Let me know if you want the stillen and I will give you the dealer's number in the states.

 

Thanks man .... I think i saw his ad on kijiji for $470 firm .... that's a bit pricey for a used setup ... few bucks more and i have a new one ... do you know anyone who has one on his ride currently?

 

Tell me about it ... pricing from US vendors to Canada has always sucked ... always and always. Best bet is to get it delivered in US and go pick it up.
I saw your GB ... sad to see that you couldn't get a good price but $499 shipped is still OK i guess. Does it include all taxes and duties?

Yea, really turned me off Stillen. Taxes yes, Duty, not sure as they can always hit you up at the boarder. I will probably just go pick it up too. good luck.

 

Let me know cause we can get it delivered to a UPS store in Cheektowaga (10 mins from the border) and pick it up. We all can probably make a trip there
Are you planning on DIY this mod? Or having someone do it considering the fact this install is a PITA (so i've heard). Cutting and breaking things puts me off especially when a company like Stillen makes you do that.

 

$470 (no such thing as firm hahaha) is not that bad as long as everything is in good condition, filter especially. if you don't wanna to go thru the hassle of shipping to buffalo.

 

I might join if you guys seriously about going US. although i m not getting the Gen 3 but i want to get sth else!!

im going with takeda CAI. $460 brand new no tax and pick up in toronto. i dont gotta pay for shipping, alot easier to install instead of the gen 3. gains are about the same, only difference is logo and air filters.

 

That's a good choice if you don't wanna go through the hassle of cutting and wrecking your rad support.
