Minor problem with my brand new g37

Well after a week of driving, the only bad thing i notice is on like sports talk radio, whether its XM or AM radio if i turn the volume 40% or higher i hear a "zzzzz" piercing sound coming out of the passenger door speaker. I listen to sports radio alot so this is quite annoying, if i lower the volume to 35% or under the sound will go away....

Should i take it to the dealer and see if they can replace the speaker?
I dont hear this with regular music (maybe its there but the song hides it)
Is it worth them ripping my door apart to replace it?

I tried messing with treble and bass settings to no avail....

thanks for input

It may be also associated with the notorious high pitch ring that occurs when the cars accelerator is engaged and the volume is down- a problem prevalent in most new Infiniti Bose systems.

Boom has a point. Maybe Infiniti will go in another direction, away from the overrated, overpriced Bose systems. Bose should stick to home theater.

If you can duplicate it, show the service manager and see if they can do something about it. Also, don't forget to update your post and give us the results.

sounds like a speaker problem. Duplicate it and show the service manager. Let them deal with it.

yes, you'll get a loaner from any infiniti service center since they're doing warranty work.

i hear the same high pitched noise in mine. just got it two weeks ago. i took it to the technician and he said it was from the air intakes, the car sucks so much air in and they make that whistling noise... i dont know. i just crank up the music enough to cancel out the high pitched noise, but leave it low enough to hear that exhaust/engine roar.

LOL I would of laughed at him... it's some low electrical interference not air being sucked through the intake.
