In a way I'm glad I had to order my car and had plenty of time to read about all the idiosyncrasies that come with it. After reading kaoticdemize's comments in one of the 6mt threads about the 2012 being different, I had high hopes that this mod would not be necessary. After driving the car for a few days and several hundred miles, it just wasn't working out. Although I haven't driven a stick since mid summer, you don't easily forget after driving the same car for nearly 15 years. I had to do something similar on my motorcycle too.

Stock levers were too far away and lacked sufficient adjustment to bring 'em closer. As a result, I had poor clutch modulation and couldn't launch it smoothly. Two levers (they have to match after all) and $250 later, I had completely adjustable levers with practically infinite adjustment from right at the bar to nearly 4" away.

@Fezzik, possibly... See your email.

^^Done.

Note: Unless UPS causes any delays, the order is expected this Friday. I plan on having everything prepped to go to the post office on saturday. For those that have already paid, keep a look out for an email from paypal with your usps delivery conf # sometime friday night.

For others interested, there are still springs available.

Now you can actually feel it better as it engages, which has no doubt improved the lifespan of my clutch. I drove it for over a year with the stock spring and I still had **** I HATE THIS CLUTCH moments. I can't remember the last time I had that moment since I replaced the spring.

But FYI, the pins can possibly be a PITA to get out when you try and replace the spring. Some people can do it in a few minutes. I was laying down trying to get mine out for over an hour. Some might just be very slightly looser or lubed up a bit better.

Thanks for the feedback.....anyone else??
