Welcome to the forums. Its nice to come by a former bmw owner who doesn't have such a biased mindset. I to considered the 335i and the G37 as you already stated the problems with maintenance just don't seem logical especially for my first car. Congrats!

congrats and welcome!

great color choice!!!!

I was faced with same decision...I just felt the 335 was too boring especially the interior...yes it has power...but given that most of us won't be doing any track time the difference is minimal...

I owned a '65 Corvette...hard to compare the two cars...but this car reminds me so much of driving the vette in terms of raw power...fender humps view from driver seat...great sound...driving excitement...etc...

the G is such a sexy design....it won't get old any time soon. The bimmer already looks dated to me...IMHO

and I can use the extra 8K to spend on wax for my new baby!!!

Came from a 330Ci. Thought long and hard about the 335, but ultimately, the value of the G won me over. $50k for a 3 series just seemed out of line to me. Anyway, not regretting my decision one bit. Love the G and can't wait for warmer weather to really enjoy it.

Congrats on your new car!

Congratz on the switch! Im just happy the 135i is ugly and 335i is 6-8k more! If that wasnt the case I would have a BMW in the driveway and Vishnu would be my new best friend
